If you’re injured in an area where local medical facilities cannot provide the medically-necessary treatment, eligible emergency medical transportation costs will be covered to get you to the nearest hospital that can.

Atlas Travel offers up to $2,000,000 in coverage, per certificate period, for anyone 69 years and younger. Individuals between 70 and 79 years can receive a maximum of $50,000, $100,000, or $250,000. Anyone 80 years or older will have a maximum limit of $10,000.
In addition, Atlas Travel will pay for 100% of eligible expenses (after the deductible and up to the overall maximum).

If you sustain a life or limb-threatening injury or illness and the nearest hospital or emergency care facility cannot provide the medically-necessary treatment, Atlas Travel will cover eligible costs up to $1,000,000 for emergency air and ground transportation to the nearest hospital that can.
If you suffer from a sudden accident that causes you to lose one or more of your eyes or limbs, Atlas Travel can provide benefits to help compensate for damages.
In the case of death, Atlas Travel will cover eligible costs of air or ground transportation of your remains to the area of your principle residence (up to the amount stated in your Schedule of Benefits and Limits). Additional benefits can be collected by your designated beneficiary.
