Spring break, a summer adventure, a fall getaway, a Christmas vacation—no matter the season, the opportunities to travel with friends and family are endless. Traveling with a group is a great way to see the world while surrounded by the comforts of familiar company.
However, with great group trips comes great responsibility. It’s difficult enough to plan for transportation, hotels, food, and an itinerary that everyone can agree on. Add in the potential for unpredictable issues like travel delays, serious illnesses, or injuries and suddenly you’re stressed out!
If your trip doesn’t go exactly as planned, an Atlas Group policy can help keep your group covered for everything from eligible, unexpected medical expenses to travel mishaps and political evacuation expenses.
Don’t let potential risks stress you out as you travel. An Atlas Group policy can cover your group for a variety of unanticipated complications to help ensure you have the adventure of a lifetime.

Traveling to another country can expose your group to illnesses your bodies are not prepared to fight off. Along with infectious diseases, there’s always a possibility of accidents resulting in serious injuries when you explore foreign territory.
Atlas Group can cover various medical expenses to help the members of your group get the treatment they need to get back on their feet. Coverage includes eligible expenses resulting from hospital room and board, local ambulance, surgery, physical therapy, and diagnostic testing (like MRI’s or X-Rays).
You and your group may find yourselves in countries with less advanced medical facilities or in areas where the nearest physician equipped to treat you is hundreds of miles away.
If you sustain a covered life or limb—threatening injury or illness and the local medical facility cannot provide the medically-necessary treatment, Atlas Group will cover eligible costs for emergency air or ground transportation to the nearest hospital that can.
Although there's no way to fully prepare for accidents with lost checked luggage, you can receive up to $500 maximum coverage (per person) to replace clothes and personal hygiene products – as long as you’ve filed a claim with the airline and your luggage has been lost for 10 days.
Travel delays can also be an inconvenience, especially on a business trip. If you are delayed over 12 hours for a covered reason, Atlas Group can provide reimbursement for accommodations and meals.
Natural disasters are more common in some areas of the world than others. If evacuations from forecasted or current natural disasters displace your group from planned, paid lodging, Atlas Group can pay $250 maximum a day for up to five days for replacement accommodations.
If your country becomes uninhabitable due to a natural disaster, and your group is unable to leave by normal means, Atlas Group will provide coverage for a covered evacuation to the nearest safe location or home country. Check out the full terms and conditions.
