What’s the difference between Travel Medical and Trip Cancellation Plans?
Travel Medical Insurance
Travel medical provides limited healthcare coverage for people away from home. Our policies can reimburse you for unexpected eligible healthcare costs so you can reduce your risks if you get sick or injured. Consider Atlas Travel or Atlas Travel Premium for your travel partner. In most cases, pre-existing conditions are excluded.
Trip Protection Plans with Trip Cancellation
This is for United States citizens and residents only. Before your scheduled trip you may find that you have to cancel all plans. Atlas Journey will provide reimbursement for most non-refundable costs related to your trip if you cancelled due to a covered reason. These plans have their own pre-existing conditions exclusions here.
Pro Tip: Did you know that your domestic health coverage may not cover you outside of your home country?
