Atlas Travel Medical Series

Important notice for Atlas Travel Medical policyholders (Atlas Travel, Atlas Premium, Atlas MultiTrip, Atlas Group/DayTripper, ExchangeGuard, and SafetyWing) with effective coverage AND Israel is your destination country: the U.S. Department of State (US-DOS) has changed the travel advisory level for travel to Israel to Level 3 – Reconsider Travel.

Political Evacuation:

As of Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, the U.S. Department of State’s travel advisory for Israel has been raised to Level 3. Because of this designation, the political evacuation benefit has been triggered.

What does this mean?

For Atlas Travel, Atlas Premium, Atlas MultiTrip, Atlas Group/DayTripper, ExchangeGuard, and SafetyWing plans, the U.S. Department of State must issue a Level 3 or Level 4 travel advisory AFTER your arrival in the destination country. Your coverage also had to be effective prior to the advisory being issued, and you must contact WorldTrips within 10 days of the date the travel advisory is issued.

Atlas Journey Trip Protection Insurance (if your policy number begins with the letter “T”)
